We carry the full line of 8800 Series mortise locks, with installation that’s made simple with quick lever handling, field reversible latchbolt and standard nonhanded strike – but what’s most special about the Yale mortise product is that it offers a new measure of security, boasting a reinforced stainless steel deadbolt, heavy-duty/vandal-resistant trim and ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 certification for long life and durability.
These locks are UL-cUL fire-rated up to three hours and provide superior strength and security where your facility needs it the most. The dependable design can withstand the demands of routine use, and with several trim and finish options, these locks offer a solution for every aesthetic.

The Passage F01 option is for doors that do not require locking, bringing a latchbolt that’s lever-retracted on either side at all times. The Entry/Office F04 option is for doors that demand locking; this design, too, features a latchbolt that’s lever-retracted on either side – except when outside lever is locked by stopwork activator – and a latchbolt operated by a key outside and lever inside when outside lever is locked. The Office/Classroom option features a deadlocking latchbolt, inside know/lever that’s always active and more.
Yale 8800 Series mortise lock cylinder options include a standard cylinder (2160 cam, six pins, 1-1/8-inch length, para keyway/keyed random/para keyway, 0 bit keyway, 1765 cylinder, ¼-inch collar) and fixed core Schlage “C” keyway cylinder (2160 cam, six pins, 1-1/8-inch length, keyed random keyway, 1765 cylinder, ¼-inch collar).
The Yale 8800 Series mortise lock remains an industry-standard product, with sectional and escutcheon lever trims that feature through-bolted installation, ensuring positive alignment of the trim with the lock case and an attractive aesthetic. The outside trim is held in place by threaded posts, and these posts fit through holes in the lock case, ultimately secured by through-bolts from the inside trim.
Since self-aligning trim is easy to install, on-the-job labor costs may be reduced, and because Yale outside escutcheon trims have no visible screws, the possibility of vandalism is greatly diminished – if not totally eradicated.
